Print Specs

  • This is an Archival Giclee Print signed by the Artist.
  • The Edition Number is Open but the Print is only available for a Limited Time
  • It is 17″ by 17″ (actual printed image size is 16″ by 16″ with a 1/2″ white border all around – this border is typically covered by the mat of the frame though a frame with no mat can work really nicely as well – if you are unsure about what frame to order, its a good idea to wait till you receive the print.)
  • It is printed with archival inks on high quality matte paper.

  • The print is wrapped in wax paper and rolled up into a tube for shipping.
  • Continental US Shipping is FREE during Print Sale. After PreSale it will be $10.95.
  • For International Orders as well as orders from Alaska and Hawaii, there is an additional $15 added at Check Out. After pre-sale, the shipping will go up. (This covers added shipping and international paypal fees as well as processing and forms on our end).

Description

This is one of my latest and largest paintings to date. It is inspired by many beautiful views of the sun rising from behind the mountains, lighting up the landscape and seemingly giving it new life to the surroundings. That’s such a  magical moment in the early part of the day. I am in awe when everything seems anew as the landscape wakes up for the day ahead – it is a unique phenomenon that happens everyday but never ceases to amaze. Through out my art journey I’ve been fascinated with the lotus symbol, creating many mosaics of my own lotus design and more recently, a couple of years ago, I created 2 sets of lotus sculptures to express my fascination with the power of new beginnings that each day brings us.  I used that same inspiration here in my painting. There is so much in that which can be so uplifting when you find yourself needing a change.
