This painting is inspired by a clear Summer night in the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado where I live. Each year for my birthday which falls in the middle of July we go camping around Silverton. This is typically the height of the wildflower season up in the high country. The scenery is spectacular and millions of flowers blanket the alpine meadows. The variety and vibrant colors are breathtaking. It is a magical time of the year when the earth that is nourished by the snow most of the year, thaws out for just long enough to give life to the most magnificent display.

The painting is varnished in a mat finish, has a signed certificate of authenticity on the back as well as a hanging wire and is custom framed in a hardwood gallery style floating frame. Limited time Free US Shipping $75 value.
