Gathering the Sheep, charcoal on paper, 11″x14″

For a brief moment, I was fortunate enough to live on a sheep dairy in Vermont. This scene is inspired by the early gathering of sheep for the morning milking. It was a particularly magical but brief moment at dawn. I wanted to make it last longer through my drawing.
