Dawn at an Aster Mountain Meadow, acrylic on board, 16″x20″ (17″x21″ framed), 2022

This painting is inspired by early mountain mornings when the landscape still seems to be veiled in a soft blue color but sections slowly begin to saturate with highlights of different hues. The wildflowers are beginning to stand out first as they are closest to the viewer on an early mountain meadow stroll in the Summer. The purply pink asters are engaged in a sweet dance with the wispy pink clouds in the fresh morning sky.

The painting is varnished in satin, has a hanging wire on the back as well as a signed certificate of authenticity. It is custom framed in a black hardwood floating frame.
