This tiny landscape is inspired by the magical atmosphere of  Wintry Nights  in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado when the milkyway can bee seen and the snowy peaks can appear a soft lavender hue.

The landscape is painted on a gessoed wood slice. It is created with arylic wash layers and acrylic paint markers. The painting is varnished in gloss on the front, sides and back. Its signed on the front as well as the back and has a hanging twine looped through it for display on wall or Christmas tree.
