San Juan Summer Night VI

San Juan Summer Night VI, acrylic on canvas, 10″x8″ (11″x9″ includes a wood patterned floating frame), 2025

This painting is part of my exploration of a variety of night sky paintings inspired by the San Juan Mountains that surround the small town of Pagosa Springs where I live in Southern Colorado. I played with this idea through out 9 small canvases, experimenting with similar compositions and some of my favorite colors for night sky landscapes.

The painting is varnished in gloss with a shimmer of tiny, subtle glitter sparkles. It has a signed certificate of authenticity on the back as well as a hanging wire and a black colored gallery style floating frame.
