Large Wood Round Ornament 2025

2025 Ornament Series,  acrylic on wood round, 5″-5.5″ diameter, 2025

This tiny landscape is inspired by the magical atmosphere of  the night sky above the Rocky Mountains of  the Mountain West Region of the US.

The landscape is painted on a gessoed wood slice. It is created with acrylic wash layers and acrylic paint markers. The painting is varnished in gloss and glitter on the front, sides and back. Its signed on the back and has a hanging twine looped through it for display on wall or Christmas tree.
